The Nashville Kannada Koota Community Service team is dedicated to giving back and making a positive impact on the community we live in. Our volunteers actively contribute through various initiatives including preparing and serving food, donating essential items, and sharing knowledge and skills to support those in need. From adults to the enthusiastic members of our youth committee, everyone is committed to stepping up and helping whenever the opportunity arises. Together, we aim to build a stronger, more connected, and compassionate community.
Project
Serving a meal
On March 15, 2025, volunteers from the Nashville Kannada Koota came together to serve a warm and hearty meal at the Nashville Rescue Mission’s Women & Children’s Campus. From food preparation to serving and organizing, the NKK community showed incredible compassion and teamwork in supporting those in need. A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who generously gave their time and energy to make this event meaningful and impactful!

Caps Knitting
On a cold day at the Brentwood Library, volunteers from the Nashville Kannada Koota came together for a heartwarming community project. With dedication and care, they spent the day knitting cozy caps that will be donated to those in need. This thoughtful initiative reflects the spirit of giving and unity within the community, spreading warmth in more ways than one
